About the Role

You will be responsible for:
• Providing VAT expertise both internally and externally, explaining complex concepts.
• Delivering high-quality tax compliance, including VAT, Corporation Tax, and Employment Tax
• Conducting tax planning and research to identify potential tax savings opportunities.
• Staying up-to-date with UK and European tax legislation and regulations.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure tax compliance and efficiency.
• Supporting the Director and senior team with tax related queries.
• Building relationships with customers by providing tax information.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Full or part-qualified accountant with relevant tax experience.
• Proven track record in UK and European tax, with a strong focus on VAT.
• Excellent understanding of VAT, with some knowledge of Corporation Tax, Employment Tax, and import VAT.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in relevant accounting software and systems.
